AQUAPANEL® Cement Board Outdoor is a robust, non-combustible building panel made of aggregated Portland cement with coated glass fibre mesh embedded in back and front surfaces. It offers all the benefits of a dry panel system with the strength of brick and block. The ends are cut square and edges are reinforced for extra strength (the EasyEdge®). The panel provides a solid base that withstands extreme weather conditions.
AQUAPANEL® Cement Board Outdoor is used is used in exterior applications for walls and ceilings as a directly-applied (water-managed) or ventilated system. Furthermore, AQUAPANEL® Cement Board Outdoor can also serve as a substrate for ceramic and other linings as well as thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS).
AQUAPANEL Outdoor is finished flat foundation to be cover by any finishing materials, characterized by high resistance to extreme weather conditions and is used to arrange:

Installation process includes the following stages:
• Cutting AQUAPANEL Interior boards.
• The installation of a metal or wooden frame.
• Mounting plates
• Handling of the entire surface finishing by putty mixture AQUAPANEL Sevener.
• decorative trim.
Always carry boards upright using a board trolley or on a pallet using a forklift truck. When setting the boards down, make sure that corners and edges are not damaged. The supporting surface must be able to carry the weight of the boards. A pallet of AQUAPANEL® Cement Board Outdoor applies a floor loading from about 900 to 1750 kg (as delivered). AQUAPANEL® Cement Board Outdoor must be protected from the effects of moisture and weather before installation. Boards that have become damp must be dried on both sides before use. Allow time for the boards to acclimatise to the ambient temperature and moisture conditions before installation. The material, ambient air and background temperature must not be below +5°C. Before applying the plaster facade (Knauf Diamant), handle the surface with Knauf Izogrund primer.
